"SHELTER"

A virtual trip to refugee homes around the world

A virtual trip to refugee homes around the world.
Shelter is a virtual trip to refugee homes in several places in the world. Developed by Architects Without Borders and featured, among others, on the Tom Tits Experiment in Södertälje.

With 360-degree video and VR headsets, can visitors experience what it is like to live as 6.2 million people today do in emergency housing on the run.

The films are filmed in the Bidibidi refugee camp in Uganda, the earthquake-hit Lombok in Indonesia and the Za'atari refugee camp in Jordan.

DING developed the VR application for Shelter based on the client's different wishes. It was created in Unity, which is a popular development platform for, among other things, creating interactive 3D experiences.
